JOURNEY AND DESTINATION OF LOSING WEIGHT

To any lay person, losing weight means going on a
diet ....pop in some slimming pills ....and do some
exercises ?

But is this enough ?

Certainly not !!

I should know because I was previously weighing
almost a 100 kg ....and today, I have reduced my
weight to a comfortable 60 kg.

My body is slim and svelte now .... and I have got rid
of all those super-sized clothes !

From my experience, while the basics of weight loss
involve dieting and exercising ----   it is very important
for you to complement it with a post-weightloss plan.

This means that once you have achieved your
pre-determined weight target, you have to ensure
that you CONTINUE to maintain it.

Consider your dieting, exercising and weight-loss supplements
as a journey .... a continous journey with various battles
that you will need to win over weeks and months of
mental and physical endurance .....a journey towards
your destination of your targetted optimum weight.

And once your destination is reached .....another
series of battles begin ..... whereby you have to
MAINTAIN AND CONTROL your desired weight.

Reaching your destination does not mean that you
have succeeded in losing weight..... the REAL success
comes when you can maintain that optimum weight
forever !

This is the real crunch for most of us tend to slack
and slow down after reaching the destination .....
and in no time at all, we find ourselves adding another
5 kg or 10 kg in a week ......

Remember ....losing weight is not only about the journey
or the destination ....but it is also about staying in that
destination !!
